Founded in 2022 by Thibaud Elzière, Matthias Goldenberg and Pierre Escrieut, Kate marks a decisive shift for everyday mobility by offering light electric vehicles which are manufactured in France and meet today’s challenges in terms of sustainability and consumer responsibility.
Kate’s inaugural decision was to acquire NOSMOKE: founded in 2012, this French car manufacturer produces an electric version of an iconic small off-road vehicle from the 1960s. Under Kate’s ownership, the flagship NOSMOKE model is to undergo a major upgrade in 2023, becoming Kate Original.
